Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICT Assurance Officer to join our team. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing expertise in undertaking assurance processes to ensure that we manage risk and maximize the value of ICT to health service delivery and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex and high-risk project gated assurance and health check evaluations to support Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) risk management, business case development, ICT procurement, implementation, and benefits realization.
  • Provide expert advice to executive stakeholders by recommending improvements and risk mitigation strategies where necessary enabling informed decision making to ensure intended outcomes and benefits are realized.
Requirements:
  • Ability to use high level interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and communication skills with a diplomatic approach to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders.
  • High level project management skills and gateway assurance knowledge.

About this Role

In this role, you will work closely with officers and stakeholders from across the health system and will report to the Assurance Manager.

You will be responsible for delivering complex and high-risk project gated assurance and health check evaluations to support Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) risk management, business case development, ICT procurement, implementation, and benefits realization.

You will also provide expert advice to executive stakeholders by recommending improvements and risk mitigation strategies where necessary enabling informed decision making to ensure intended outcomes and benefits are realized.

You must have high level project management skills and gateway assurance knowledge, as well as the ability to use high level interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and communication skills with a diplomatic approach to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders.

This role may be required to work at different locations.
