Role Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be instrumental in creating an engaged workforce that drives productivity and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with casual labour hire agencies to achieve consistency in supply chain operations.
  • Support agencies and warehouse leaders to drive efficiency, retention, and quality of standards.
  • Be the talent partner for key stakeholders to deliver activities related to sourcing, supply, and onboarding of award-based team members.
  • Organize pre-employment medical assessments and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Support leaders in managing probationary processes for their team members.
  • Partner with local community groups to build broader talent pools and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Collate and report activities related to distribution centre recruitment and onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Experience across different recruitment approaches, including direct hire, traditional platforms, and social media.
  • Awareness of the local labour market and attraction and retention strategies.
  • Previous experience in warehouse DC operations and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated experience of managing award-based and labour hire teams.
  • Experience influencing and negotiating with leadership teams and key stakeholders in FMCG environments.
