About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Saputo Dairy Australia. As a key member of our reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site in Leongatha.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the reliability team's goals of increasing production uptime, reducing manufacturing downtime, and controlling maintenance costs.
  • Work on planned and preventative maintenance to ensure plant and equipment are running efficiently.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with quality and safety processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance our maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Trade or Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Working experience as a Fitter/Maintenance role within FMCG or similar industry.
  • Relevant trade skills and experience with industrial, automated, and robotic manufacturing equipment – maintenance/service and repairs.
  • Fault finding experience and ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work well within a team and flexibility to do shift work.
  • Experience with SAP/CMMS is desirable.
