As a seasoned professional in commercial management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our large-scale subcontracting operations.

About the Role
  • Lead end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works, aligning project objectives with stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage subcontractor engagement, and ensure packages are scoped and delivered efficiently.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior commercial staff, actively managing cost forecasting, contract compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and stay informed about market trends to drive value and effective contract negotiation.
  • Support head contract administration and reporting, including managing variations, claims, dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and building regulations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Commerce.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion, and close-out.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current C-Class Driver's Licence.
