Emergency Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled veterinary nurse to join our team in the emergency department. As an experienced nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our skilled veterinary team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to critically ill and injured patients during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments.
  • Monitor patients closely, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Offer support and guidance to pet owners during stressful situations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience with complex emergency cases.
  • Skills: Ability to provide high-quality patient care even in busy conditions. Strong communication skills. Friendly, team player attitude. Flexibility to work across days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and public holidays.
