Strategic Legal Training Leader

AGS legal training is in need of an Executive Level 1 leader who can align our learning and development with client needs and organizational objectives. As a Legal Training Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring strategic direction, developing long-term plans, and implementing operational strategies to achieve client and internal training objectives.

This role requires a mature understanding of adult learning principles and experience in designing and delivering training and development materials in a legal or professional services environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to set the strategic direction, develop long-term plans, and implement operational strategies.

  • Providing strategic advice on client and internal training offerings, including identifying synergies across platforms
  • Facilitating and promoting contemporary learning training materials through various technologies
  • Identifying and proposing future training evaluation and assessment needs, as well as improvements to client training and internal strategy

You will report to the National Manager Library and Practice Services SES B1 and may supervise more junior staff. A strong understanding of the Commonwealth legal environment is essential, along with formal qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in management within a legal services environment.
