After School Caregiver Position in Kingsford, NSW

This role is for a caring and engaging individual to care for three children aged 4, 9, and 11 years after school. The ideal candidate will be able to provide fun and stimulating activities for the children at home, as well as transport them to their afternoon activities. The days and hours are flexible, but ideally Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

About the Role

We are seeking someone who is loving, active, and trustworthy, with the ability to fit into our family dynamic. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in childcare or nannying and hold a current first aid certificate. They will also require a current Working with Children Check and possess strong communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for the children, following their routines, and engaging in play with them. They will also be required to transport the children to their activities, perform light household duties, and assist with meal preparation if desired.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in childcare or nannying
  • A current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to speak English fluently
  • A full driver's license and clean driving record
