Turf Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our grounds team in delivering exceptional sporting facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Team Leader in maintaining, preparing, and renovating all turf surfaces. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high-standard sporting field preparation
• Preparing and renovating turf surfaces
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Horticulture (Turf), Sports Turf Management or related area
• Current class C driver's license
• Experience and knowledge of high-standard sporting field preparation and other areas including common reserves and landscaping
• Chemical Application Accreditation AQF3 or equivalent

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance and preparation of sand profile sports fields, turf wickets, softball and baseball diamonds
• Current class MR driver's license
• Chemical Application Accreditation AQF4 or equivalent
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Ability to work flexible working hours
• Ability to work within a team environment
