  • Operating off-coil machines to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh
  • Inputting job tags on machines to produce steel products
  • MIG Welding (second class) of steel cages & gates
  • Operating an overhead crane and forklift
  • Accurately picking and packing orders
  • Loading and unloading trucks for customers or drivers
  • Promoting and contributing to a safe workplace

Mechanical aptitude is highly valued in this role.

Day and afternoon shifts are available, with competitive hourly rates:

Day shift: $31.90 per hour, 5am-1pm

Afternoon shift: $36.70 per hour, 1pm-9pm

Casual positions offer potential for permanent conversion after six months.

Candidates must be able to load wire coils and steel reinforcing bar through the machine, as well as accurately read tape measures and enter information into the machine computer.

Additional requirements include passing a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement.

To be considered, applicants should demonstrate reliability, physical fitness, safety focus, pride in their work, ability to follow instructions, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
