Job Opportunity: Administration Support

Harmony Home and Community Care is a registered NDIS provider and support coordinator seeking a casual Administration Assistant to join our growing team. We provide and arrange services and supports to people with varying disabilities, to assist them in living their own lives, making their own choices and to stay connected to their community.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties including:

  • Providing information concerning services and inquiries
  • Following up on client issues and assisting in their resolution
  • Planning meetings and arranging conference calls
  • Managing calendars, phone and face-to-face meetings
  • General office administration

The Administration Assistant will also be responsible for:

  • Inputting and updating various spreadsheets
  • Organising and caring for confidential client and staff files
  • General office administration duties

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Clear and fluent English
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Organised, with great time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (preferred)
  • Office administration experience at least one year (preferred)
  • NDIS experience or similar (preferred but not essential)
  • NDIS Screening Check required or ability to obtain (essential)

We are looking for someone who can work in a close-knit team environment and manage their time effectively. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience and skills. The successful applicant must be able to work in Australia without any restrictions and have their own transport. There may be some local travel involved, and vehicle kilometre allowance will be paid per use.

The expected hours will be in the vicinity of 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday during office hours, with no set roster. The business needs someone flexible and willing to work as required.

  • Administration experience: 1 year
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
  • Ability to work in Australia: Essential

Working Arrangements:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
  • On call
  • Rotating roster

Willingness to Travel: 25%
