About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our grounds team at RACV Noosa Resort in the beautiful Sunshine Coast, QLD.

This is a casual role, working 7.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with varying shifts to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general grounds duties, including gardening, plant care, weed control, landscaping, and maintenance as required.
  • Operate equipment, such as lawn mowers, whipper snippers, and hedgers, while maintaining safe work practices.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality presentation is maintained.
  • Complete tasks within designated time frames and to a high standard.
  • Interact with guests and visitors to provide excellent customer service and a memorable experience.
Requirements
  • Relevant certificate in general landscaping or horticulture, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of maintenance, horticulture, and landscape procedures and techniques.
  • Soft scape grounds knowledge.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of manual labor and heavy lifting.
  • Can work unsupervised and within a team environment, at times fast-paced, demonstrating a positive attitude and effective communication.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Plays an active role in ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment, adhering to RACV health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Valid Australian driver's license.
