Job Title

A key player in quality assurance is required to join our team to drive improvements in meeting quality objectives, reduce risks, and minimize the cost of non-quality across operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who will deliver quality assurance for our above-water systems segment. This individual will drive improvements to meet quality objectives, reduce risks, and minimize the cost of non-quality across operations. The role requires a risk-based approach to quality assurance, ensuring compliance, addressing deficiencies, certifying products, mitigating risks, and issuing alerts or vetoes when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • To integrate complex project requirements and diverse stakeholder expectations, establishing quality benchmarks and mitigation of risks to potential systemic issues that may impact project outcomes.
  • To build relationships with cross-functional groups to execute quality assurance strategies that align with project goals and customer requirements.
  • To foster a culture of quality awareness and ensure that QA processes are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Audit qualifications (e.g., Lead Auditor) background or qualifications desirable.
  • Extensive experience in quality management, preferably in an industrial/systems engineering organization or other relevant technically orientated discipline.
  • Detailed knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Strategic influencing skills, including the ability to promote improvement at all levels and across all areas of the organization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements.
