Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Community Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting an Italian client with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.


Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support in everyday daily activities around the home, ensuring the client's comfort and well-being
  2. Deliver support with hygiene and personal care, promoting independence and dignity
  3. Offer assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment, fostering social connections
  4. Ensure medication compliance, which may include dispensing prescription medication, maintaining the client's health and safety
  5. Provide meal assistance, including meal preparation, promoting healthy eating habits

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:


Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluent Italian language skills
  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • A current Australian Drivers License (minimum P2) and reliable vehicle, along with comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification (valid for 3 years), CPR certification (valid for 12 months), and National police clearance – or willingness to obtain
