Senior Verification and Validation Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Brooks Automation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive verification and validation strategies for our laboratory automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Design and implement test protocols to validate product performance, usability, and reliability.
- Analyze test data to determine product conformance to specifications and performance metrics.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during verification and validation processes, proposing engineering solutions to address and resolve these issues.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and align verification and validation activities with overall project objectives.
- Participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential risks associated with equipment and validate the effectiveness of risk control measures.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary Engineering qualifications in a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the design and execution of test campaigns for new products.
- Proven ability to meet pre-determined timeframes.
- Adaptable problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, diagnosis, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver results.
- Experience delivering products within an ISO 13485 Quality System is desirable.
