Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in aged care or disability, a Certificate 3 in Individual Support, and the ability to provide high-quality support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany clients during daily activities, outings, and errands
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including showering and dressing
  • Prepare food and shop for clients
  • Perform household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide social interaction and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability (at least one year)
  • NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid Certificate including CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Own a car with relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification (desirable)
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
