We produce and market some of Australia's most iconic beverage brands, including Schweppes, Pepsi Max, Gatorade, Cool Ridge, Great Northern, Carlton Draught, Vodka Cruiser, Asahi Super Dry and Allpress coffee.

As a Strategic Commercial Manager for Key Accounts, you will play a key role in driving our business forward. We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing the relationship with major customers to drive collaboration and alignment between our businesses. This includes engaging with primary customer contact to conduct joint business planning, understanding key drivers of the customer's business and strategy, and supporting the creation of annual plans with Sales Operations and Customer Marketing and Category.

You will also partner with internal stakeholders such as Category and Innovation to identify new opportunities to drive category growth, achieve agreed brand and commercial targets in line with the national account strategy and individual goals and objectives, and monitor business performance and return on investment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. You will have exceptional financial and commercial acumen, which will be demonstrated through your customer management success.

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record in sales and customer relationship management dealing with major accounts.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing commercial contracts.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approach.
  • Strategic account planning; able to apply market/industry knowledge and insights to evaluate and develop CUB and customer opportunities.
