Room Attendant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication skills. You will also be required to use computer tablets and mobile phones to complete tasks efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to multitask and work well under pressure. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations is also essential.

  • High standard of cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, linen room/pantries according to procedure and checklists
  • Comply with guest privacy and security procedures
  • Responsible for master floor keys, ensuring they remain secure throughout your shift and returned at the end of shift
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and training as assigned by management
  • Manage guest complaints immediately if possible or escalate where necessary to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Understand and ensure safe usage and storage of cleaning/chemical agents in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to use computer tablets and mobile phones for housekeeping tasks
  • Good oral and written proficiency in English language
  • Can multi-task, and work well in high-pressure situations
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
