Early Childhood Educator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Mount Hutton. This part-time role involves working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 2 pm.

The successful candidate will support the inclusion of children with additional needs, facilitate learning experiences for their allocated group, and maintain effective communication with parents throughout the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the inclusion of children with additional needs
  • Facilitating learning experiences for allocated groups
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
  • Ensuring high health & safety standards at all times

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA approved) and have experience working with children with additional needs.

Additionally, you will need to hold a Current Working with Children Check, possess a working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, and be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
