We are seeking a skilled and dedicated registered nurse to join our home health team.
This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work at your full scope of practice, providing quality care across various settings and caseloads. Our team is responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes.
- Complete in-home clinical assessments and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage medications, including IV antibiotics via PICCs.
- Deliver complex wound care, including NPWT.
- Manage surgical drain tubes.
- Urinary catheter insertion and management.
- Coordinate care with an autonomous approach and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (AHPRA) registration.
- Unrestricted driver's license with a registered, insured vehicle.
- Minimum 12 months' experience delivering care to customers receiving IVAB via PICC lines and complex wound care including NPWT and surgical drain tube management; experience in acute, sub-acute and/or community settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills with ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with others to coordinate care.
- Working knowledge of various funding streams.
