About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Labourer to join our team at JV Recruitment. As a Civil Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects across Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of civil construction projects, including labouring alongside machine operators and site management.
  • Perform various tasks such as running conduits and agricultural drains into pavements, labouring alongside machinery, and road boxing and basic landscaping.
Requirements
  • White Card
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • 12 months of construction experience
  • Background in civil construction
  • Full PPE
  • Relevant machinery tickets (desired but not essential)
  • Transportation (desirable but not essential)
What We Offer
  • $33.81-$36 per hour + super + coinvest
  • Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
  • Additional travel allowance ($21.94 per day)
  • Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
  • Ongoing roles with opportunities for progression
