We are currently seeking a diligent Cleaning Specialist to join our team at North Ryde Macquarie Hospital.

**Job Description:**

In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing a cleaning service to the facility according to a predetermined service plan. You will maintain all surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within your allocated area in accordance with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2023_018.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
  • Clean and disinfect all surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area.
  • Operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners, sweepers and scrubbers safely and efficiently.
  • Follow NSW Health policies and procedures for work health and safety, manual handling and infection control.

**Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in cleaning or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of work health and safety, manual handling and infection control principles.
