We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in Gympie and Sunshine Coast regions. As a Community Support Worker, you will make a daily impact in the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
  • Domestic Assistance: Help with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening
  • Social Support: Provide companionship and encourage engagement through conversation and activities
  • Transportation: Support clients with shopping, appointments, and community access
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in community or aged care support, including domestic duties, is highly desirable
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Current driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • Willingness to travel up to 60 minutes
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination highly desirable
  • Flexible shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Ideally available 3-4 weekdays
  • Minimum 20 hours per fortnight (PPT), with potential to increase after probation
  • Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
