About the Role

Sanctuary Care, a subsidiary of Mounties Group, provides in-home care services to enable clients to live independently with support. We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing Community Support Worker to join our team in Robina, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany clients during daily activities, including running errands and outings
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
  • Support with personal care and hygiene, such as showering and dressing
  • Perform household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Provide social interaction and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments
About You

We are looking for an ideal candidate who:

  • Holds a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or a similar qualification
  • Has previous experience in aged care or disability, with at least one year of experience
  • Is vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Has a current Police Check or is willing to obtain one
  • Has a current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, or is willing to obtain one
  • Owns a car and has relevant insurances
  • Has a dementia care qualification (desirable)
  • Has proficient verbal and written communication skills
