At the forefront of Australia's clean energy transition, we're seeking a Senior Network Safety Lead to spearhead our network safety strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse electrical safety risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Assess asset risk profiles and devise mitigation plans and business cases
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, developing plans and strategies, consulting with regulators and monitoring performance
  • Influence asset management processes, analysing equipment faults, risk modelling and weather impacts to inform asset replacement/maintenance strategies
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee the management, development and auditing of the Bushfire mitigation plan, Environmental and other safety obligations, offering strategic advice, guidance and contingency planning

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience in technical/engineering roles within the utilities industry, preferably with asset management or operational management experience
  • A proven commitment to achieving excellent safety outcomes
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management best practices, frameworks and relevant standards, including regulatory frameworks and legislation
  • Knowledge of Australian and International standards and industry codes of practice
  • Ability to lead and coordinate failure and incident investigations
  • Familiarity with equipment and technologies on the Electricity Distribution Network, as well as emerging trends and innovations
  • Critical analytical skills to leverage data-driven insights for informed decision-making and optimised asset performance
