About this role:
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end payroll processing
- Administer the Micropay payroll system
- Coordinate weekly and monthly pay runs
- Evaluate and verify payroll information accuracy
- Review and manage payroll transactions
- Support with payroll queries
- Optimize payroll processes
- Oversee leave entitlements management
- Process annual leave, terminations, and sick pay
- Analyze sales commissions and process accordingly
- Produce reports for end-of-month and ad-hoc requests
- Maintain general payroll administration
- Perform ad-hoc duties from the management team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll
- Proficiency in Micropay or similar payroll systems
- Able to collaborate with stakeholders across the business
About the opportunity:
This is an initial contract position with potential for permanency. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be accountable for various critical payroll tasks.
