About this role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing
  • Administer the Micropay payroll system
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly pay runs
  • Evaluate and verify payroll information accuracy
  • Review and manage payroll transactions
  • Support with payroll queries
  • Optimize payroll processes
  • Oversee leave entitlements management
  • Process annual leave, terminations, and sick pay
  • Analyze sales commissions and process accordingly
  • Produce reports for end-of-month and ad-hoc requests
  • Maintain general payroll administration
  • Perform ad-hoc duties from the management team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in payroll
  • Proficiency in Micropay or similar payroll systems
  • Able to collaborate with stakeholders across the business

About the opportunity:

This is an initial contract position with potential for permanency. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be accountable for various critical payroll tasks.
