Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team as a Casual Maintenance Handyman.

This role involves assisting the maintenance team in performing various tasks related to general maintenance activities, including labouring duties associated with routine upkeep and repair work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently
  • Perform minor building repairs, such as fixing light globes, fly screens, and locks
  • Liaise with contractors for repairs and maintenance services
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in maintenance or handyman work is highly desirable
  • Computer skills and knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies
  • A current NSW driver's license
  • A sound understanding of aged care principles and excellent communication skills
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain it
  • Up-to-date Flu & COVID vaccination

This is a casual role covering shift gaps, leave, and upcoming long-term holiday absences. We offer competitive rates plus 25% casual loading.

About the Role: As part of our maintenance team, you will contribute to ensuring our facilities remain well-maintained and operational at all times.
