You may not be aware of the extensive health services provided by Bupa to Defence Force members and their families across Australia. Our GPs work from well-equipped health centres on military bases, providing primary healthcare to serving Defence members, including diagnosis and treatment of health conditions, and support in managing long-term healthcare.
About the Opportunity
We're seeking GPs to work in multidisciplinary health centres on military bases, offering a wide range of clinical practice. You'll have the opportunity to practice with a strong occupational health angle or specialise in exciting clinical disciplines like underwater and aviation medicine.
We're looking for GPs across Australia, with a focus on regional bases in Wagga Wagga and Albury-Wodonga. Significant relocation support is available.
As a civilian GP in a military medical practice, you'll:

You'll need to be:
- An Australian citizen with the ability to apply for and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
- Comfortable with a lengthy recruitment process.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
- A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration.
- A minimum of 2 years Full-Time experience in general practice setting within the last 5 years.
