Senior Associate - Commercial & Insurance Litigation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigator to join our team in Perth on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of contentious matters arising from professional indemnity, directors & officers and management liability lines of insurance as well as regulatory investigations and prosecutions and commercial disputes.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage their own file load, build strong client relationships with a focus on client service, mentor junior practitioners and work collaboratively and pragmatically with colleagues.

The Role:

  • An opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for an experienced litigator;
  • The role involves handling claims across all major classes of insurance and acting for domestic and international clients;
  • The successful candidate can expect to work with a diverse range of clients and cases.

Requirements:

  • Able to manage own file load;
  • Ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
  • Ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners;
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach;
  • Diverse experience in complex litigation matters;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • University degree in law or relevant field;
  • Professional certifications or qualifications desirable;
  • Membership to relevant professional associations beneficial.
