About the Role

The Johns Lyng Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Entry-Level Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing trades during the building/construction process for buildings damaged by insurable events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and coordinate with trades to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate and negotiate with trades to track progress and resolve any issues
  • Liaise between insured parties and insurance companies to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Coordinate access to properties with insured parties and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
  • Resolve disputes and issues as required, ensuring all work conforms to legislative and contractual OHS requirements
  • Work closely with Estimators and On-Site Supervisors to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard
  • Assist in organizing contracts, processing quotes, and updating variations
  • Provide cost reporting and support to the administration team as needed
Requirements
  • Building Trade or Construction Qualification or relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Highly computer literate, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Integrity and a positive can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and start from the ground up in a fast-moving organization and team
