Restaurant Manager Job Description

Oporto was founded in 1986 with a single restaurant in Bondi. Since then, we have expanded to over 180 restaurants across Australia and internationally. We are passionate about our people, customers, and creating delicious flame-grilled chicken meals.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant management and profitability to meet our high brand, customer promise, quality, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and a commitment to continuous improvement, as well as the ability to lead teams through clear direction, coaching, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve exceptional customer experiences
  • Monitor and control labor costs, food costs, and other controllable expenses

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
