Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating waste collection vehicles, loading and unloading commercial and industrial waste, materials, or consignments, and transporting loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.

You will play a vital role in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining the presentation of the vehicle, inside and out. You must also comply with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations, and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate waste collection vehicles
  • Load and unload commercial and industrial waste, materials, or consignments
  • Transport loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities

For this role, you will need to hold an unrestricted HR license as a minimum and be physically fit to perform loading/unloading duties. A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer service ethic is essential, along with a commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team.
