Event Planning Professional

International Premier Events is seeking a skilled Event Planning Professional to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate hospitality programs at major sporting and concert events in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute end-to-end event management: pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up
  • Coordinate with venues, caterers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Work with caterers to develop bespoke food & beverage offerings
  • Innovate – bring fresh ideas to enhance the client and guest experience
  • Design and execute branding/styling plans for event spaces
  • Liaise with sporting bodies, stadiums & concert promoters on accreditation & ticketing for events
  • Develop and distribute event communications to clients
  • Manage timelines, event reporting, and assist in maintaining event-related documentation
  • Support the organization's social media accounts and websites
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • A tertiary qualification in event management, marketing, hospitality or a related field (highly regarded)
  • A passion for sports, music, and live entertainment
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and travel throughout Australia to attend events
