Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Consultant to take on a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks within our organization.

  • Evaluate risk nature, likelihood, impact scope, and interim remediation work in place using a comprehensive risk matrix.
  • Identify business ownership and confirm acceptance with effective stakeholder management and support remediation activities across various business units.
  • Maintain a centralized risk register and participate in regular change/risk business meetings.

Risk Identification and Mitigation

You will be responsible for evaluating risk nature, likelihood, impact scope, and interim remediation work in place using a comprehensive risk matrix. You will also identify business ownership and confirm acceptance with effective stakeholder management and support remediation activities across various business units.

Risk Reporting and Compliance

You will prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and ensure the accurate collation of closure documentation before any risk is closed. You will also maintain strong version control and leverage instructional guides.

Regulatory Engagement

You will engage with regulatory bodies such as ACCC, OAIC, ACMA, and TIO to address systemic issues identified. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for risk remediation activity, reporting financial impacts to the executive committee.

  • Demonstrate proven experience in credit risk management and remediation.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Succesfully implement clear recommendations for preventative measures to reduce incidents.
