We are looking for a skilled receptionist to provide exceptional customer service, manage reservations, and process orders efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, relevant experience, and a valid RSA certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Reception: Greet customers warmly, manage reservations, and provide essential information as needed.
- Order Management: Handle orders efficiently using the restaurant management system, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the kitchen.
- Telephone and Online Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and process takeaway orders.
- Payment Processing: Handle various payment methods smoothly, ensuring a seamless checkout process.
- Basic Food Preparation: Assist the kitchen with simple food preparation tasks as needed.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Keep the reception area tidy and organized, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a receptionist with strong English communication skills.
- A valid RSA certificate is preferred.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to quickly learn restaurant management systems.
- Responsible, with strong independent work capabilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work long-term with flexible working hours.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $24.10 – $26.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 8 – 38 per week
Work Location: In person
