As part of our dental health team, you'll provide top-notch preventive and therapeutic care to military members. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a difference every day.
Responsibilities:- Perform scaling, root planning, polishing procedures, desensitizing agents, occlusal sealants and anti-cariogenic agents
- Provide oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counselling and smoking cessation
- Conduct periodontal examinations and record clinical findings
- Take and dictate findings of digital radiographs
- Provide administrative support such as updating patient databases, scheduling programs, and maintaining patient records
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Registered within the province of British Columbia
- Certificate in the administration of local anesthetics
- CPR or BLS certificate
- Able to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
