Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Canberra. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about administration, recruitment, and project management.
About the Role:
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including coordinating the collation of documents, scheduling inductions, and arranging IT equipment.
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and activity tracking documentation, and provide information for reporting purposes.
- Work closely with Procurement colleagues to ensure efficient candidate engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships, including liaising with stakeholders regarding onboarding and offboarding requirements.
- Contribute to the development of process flows and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to Program recruitment activities, including interview setup, documentation preparation, and related tasks.
- Liaise with the Talent Lead to facilitate room bookings, prepare interview schedules, and issue supporting paperwork and documentation.
- Notify unsuccessful candidates via email, deal with requests for interview feedback, and ensure the successful conclusion of recruitment campaigns.
- Exercise good judgment, expertise, and knowledge in decision-making, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles, or relevant operating instructions and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, spreadsheets, and activity tracking documentation.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to Program recruitment activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- A proven ability to act with discretion and integrity when managing sensitive and confidential information.
- A customer service-focused approach to interacting with stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in successfully prioritizing tasks and delivering results on time.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Well-developed organizational skills, with the ability to proactively approach responsibilities.
- The ability to manage staff while identifying training needs across a team and promoting professionalism.
- Demonstrated personal integrity while achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a recruitment project environment.
