
Senior Performance and Talent Specialist

The APS5 Level Officer is accountable for undertaking moderately complex to complex work under limited supervision. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.
Key responsibilities include undertaking financial administration, facilitating payment of invoices, receipt of goods and reconciliation of financial data. The officer will also prepare periodic reports and end of month journal processing.
Additionally, the APS5 Level Officer will work in consultation with local leaders to build staff capability through coaching and training. They will prepare correspondence, reports and briefing papers, and assist in the preparation of technical documents.
The officer will contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework. They will provide advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
Other key responsibilities include drafting written material, including business cases, plans and executive briefs. The APS5 Level Officer will also assist with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations
- Project delivery experience
