Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Trade Development Manager to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our On Premise growth strategy, you will be responsible for driving sales, brand presence, and awareness throughout the full On Premise channel.

About the Role

The Regional Trade Development Manager will have overall responsibility for breaking down and implementing national business plans in the NSW region. This includes managing 8-12 Sales Representatives and 2 Field Coaches.

You will be the face of the brand in the market, working with the team to optimise sales, brand presence, and awareness. Your role will involve driving profitable growth through engaging distribution partners, direct customers, and ensuring efficient route-to-market solutions.

As part of the State Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving national and state consumer marketing campaigns to grow relevance for the brand in targeted occasions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Role Model: Be the credible voice of On Premise for the brand in the state, ensuring appropriate communication flow and knowledge transfer within the regional and national teams.
  2. Team Leader: Build and maintain a strong and highly effective team, leading and coaching direct reports in a motivational way for increased productivity and engagement.
  3. Strategic Operator: Take full responsibility for developing and implementing regional On Trade business plans tailored to meet ambitious company goals.
  4. Business Manager: Plan and develop geographical areas and team structures, including human resource evaluation and allocation.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of success.
  • 2+ years of people management experience (beverage industry preferred).
  • Tertiary education in Business, Marketing, or similar (preferred).
  • Strong On Premise trade industry knowledge and established contacts in the hospitality and event scene.
  • Social chameleon skills, adapting communication to suit different audiences.
  • Strategic and innovative commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, prioritization, and organisational abilities.
  • Clear understanding of markets, sales, and distribution, consumer behavior, and competitor activity in FMCG contexts.
  • Solid presentation and communication skills, including selling, negotiating, training, coaching, and active listening.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a high-energy, fast-paced field-based environment.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

This is a permanent full-time position with Red Bull Australia, requiring Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency.
