The Costa Farms and Logistics Category is a national leader in supply chain management and logistics, offering tailored solutions for retail and FMCG companies. We also provide market floor services for growers' produce through our network.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our high-performing team at our Devonport, TAS Distribution Centre on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are keen to work in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a permanent role.

The Position:

  1. Pick orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements.
  2. Maintain high inventory and pick accuracy levels.
  3. Ensure product integrity is maintained at all times.
  4. Clean and maintain the warehouse and surrounding areas to ensure they are fit for storing fresh produce.
  5. Stack pallets safely to prevent damage during loading and transit.
  6. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
  7. Assist in any duties as directed by management.
  8. Work in a refrigerated environment and operate electric pallet jacks.
  9. Use manual handling techniques to lift stock up to 25kg.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Previous warehouse or similar experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are necessary.
  • Good safety focus and awareness.
