We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering function at our Phosphate Hill and Mount Isa operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and lead a small team of electrical engineers to deliver maintenance and reliability performance across the two sites.
- Develop and implement electrical safety management systems to ensure compliance with external statutory regulations and internal plant and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to champion change and instigate improvement projects, leveraging the IPL Business Excellence initiative to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and maintain effective working relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with leadership experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing or mining environment.
- People leadership experience.
- Technical knowledge and experience of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.

Northern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland. The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
