Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organisation, ensuring alignment with the Board's objectives and the needs of the community.
  • Develop and implement effective operational plans, budgets, and performance metrics to drive organisational success.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, commercial partners, and community groups.
  • Mentor and develop staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in a similar-sized organisation, preferably in the Indigenous sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead change, navigate complex issues, and make informed decisions that drive organisational success.
