Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Fresh Service Manager to join our team at Woolworths. As a key member of our Fresh Service team, you will be responsible for assisting the Fresh Service Manager in leading, coaching, and supporting the Fresh Team to deliver a consistently good offer on our Fresh range.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a high-performing team. You will work closely with the Fresh Service Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, drive sales growth, and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fresh Service Manager in leading and coaching the Fresh Team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Work closely with the Fresh Service Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including store operations, logistics, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, days, and late nights, across a fortnightly rotational roster.
