Are you looking for a challenging role where you can use your technical skills to support the operation of a modern warehouse and distribution centre?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global publishing and distribution organisation as an IT Support professional.

As a key team member's leave, we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to fill this 6-month fixed-term contract position.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, with strong troubleshooting skills across operational technology, end-user devices, and warehouse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation of warehouse technology including conveyor belts, RF devices, label printers, and CCTV/security systems.
  • Perform ERP/server administration and system monitoring to support business-critical applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IT networks, firewalls, and infrastructure to minimise downtime.
  • Conduct preventative checks and provide rapid incident response for critical systems.
  • Set up, configure, and relocate IT equipment (Level 2 support).
  • Provide responsive IT support for staff, escalating where required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven IT support experience, ideally in a distribution, warehouse, or MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, networking basics, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to support users in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A can-do attitude, with flexibility to adapt and solve problems across diverse technologies.
