We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our team at Genesis Minerals Limited. As a key member of our Mining team, you will provide technical expertise for the mining activities of our Open Pit mining operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide surveying services to the open pit mines, ensuring accurate and up-to-date mine survey records.
- Perform all duties in accordance with survey practices and procedures, and assist in reviewing and updating these practices as needed.
- Contribute to and assist with the preparation of month-end reporting, calculations, and associated reconciliations.
- Work in accordance with statutory regulations and maintain a high level of personal organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant surveying qualifications, with Authorised Mine Surveyor (Grade 2) preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience in surveying at open pit mining operations, including experience in a contract mining environment.
- Proficiency with mine planning software (Deswik preferred) and Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency with Leica total stations, Trimble GPS, DJI UAV's, and Optech CMS.
