Job Description:

Your day-to-day responsibilities include running the daily restaurant, bars and room service operations. You will also assist in Conference & Events operations as required.

Key objectives are to train colleagues in quality and service standards, empowering them with necessary tools and equipment to perform their roles effectively.

Ensure that hotel services colleagues provide guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition at all times.

  • Greet guests upon arrival and interact effectively with them.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints and solicit feedback.

Additionally, you will support the Food & Beverage Management team by:

  • Planning for future staffing needs in a timely manner.
  • Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Managing payroll, costs and inventory management, controlling stock and ordering in line with business needs.

Hotel Services Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Drive team performance related to the hotel's soft skills and key metrics.
  • Manage payroll, costs and inventory management.
  • Ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include Guest Love, Problem Handling and colleague heartbeat.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all food and beverage facilities and equipment are cleaned, vacuumed and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume.
  • Notifying engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs.
  • Handling all credit and financial transactions in a secure manner.
  • Maintaining procedures for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, guest security and inventory control.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They must also be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues alike.
