This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including NDIS, Medicare, DVA, and private clients aged 0-100 with various chronic diagnoses. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and training personal and domestic activities of daily living, home assessments, upper limb and hand therapy, scar and oedema management, prescription of assistive devices, cognitive assessment, perceptual assessment, childhood development, behavioral support, sensory support, and more.
Responsibilities- Assess and train clients in personal and domestic activities of daily living
- Conduct home assessments and provide recommendations for home modifications
- Provide upper limb and hand therapy, including fabrication and prescription of splints
- Manage scars and oedema
- Presetn assistive devices and equipment
- Cognitive and perceptual assessments and therapies
- Childhood development, behavioral support, sensory support, developmental difficulties, learning/physical disabilities, and neurological impairments/degenerative conditions
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Flexible working hours and days as well as a 4-day FT working week option
- Regular salary reviews and personalised career and professional growth plans
- Opportunities for cross-discipline sessions and collaboration with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech Pathologists
A referral bonus of $300 is available for successful referrals.
