We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our environmental approvals team in Victoria.

Job Overview

This role involves managing complex environmental projects, leading project teams and communicating with clients and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and delivery of environmental approval projects such as EES' in Victoria.
  • Lead project interface and be the primary point of contact for clients and regulators.
  • Provide technical guidance, leadership and growth opportunities to junior team members.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, including bid management and contract negotiation.
  • Foster key client relationships and represent the company within the industry.
Requirements
  • A recognised tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering or planning.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental approvals within a consulting or government environment.
  • Experience in environmental impact assessment, including EES' and/or other statutory approval processes in major transport, water infrastructure and/or renewable energy projects in Victoria.
  • Advanced knowledge of statutory requirements for Victorian and Commonwealth approvals, including the ability to apply that knowledge to deliver solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple streams of work and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients and regulators.
