We are currently seeking a Utility Meter Reader to join our team in the Melbourne South Eastern suburbs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for accurately reading allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

About the Role:

Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
  • Uphold safety standards and represent the company professionally
  • Understand and ensure targets are met
  • Regularly communicate with office support team
  • Upload/download route information to/from hand-held device

Requirements:

  • Current valid drivers license
  • Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone
  • Ready to learn and able to work on your own
  • Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting
  • Able to work in most weather conditions
  • Able to work Mon-Fri, 30-38 hours per week
  • Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to 45 minutes each way
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail required
