Capital Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Officer to lead our capital projects team.
The role will involve overseeing the delivery of construction projects across national parks, managing a geographically dispersed team, and ensuring quality outcomes across visitor and operational assets.
- Deliver high-priority projects including visitor asset and facility renewals, roads and fire trail improvements, and operational infrastructure enhancements.
- Manage procurement, contract administration, and project governance to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project delivery with strategic objectives.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex capital works or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage remote teams and drive performance.
- Expertise in procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
- An understanding of asset management principles, preferably within a government or environmental context.
- Relevant qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, or a related field.
