Job Title: Mechanical Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility. As a part of our Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance to our Coupled Pickled Cold Mill (CPCM) as required.
  • Fault find and inspect quality and production critical equipment.
  • Contribute to the team with out of hours support as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Mechanical fitter/machinist qualifications consisting of either a Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma.
  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Exposure to maintenance management systems and/or basic computer skills.
